There comes a point when you realize that life is made up of chapters. Some chapters feel comfortable and familiar, while others challenge you to grow in ways you never expected.
For me, one of those chapters began when I moved to Canada.
Starting over in a new country has been both exciting and challenging. Along the way, I’ve experienced many changes, from navigating everyday life in Ontario to building new routines, exploring new places, and creating a home away from where I started.
As I settled into life in Canada, I discovered that the journey was about much more than paperwork, work, or finding a place to live. It was about building a life filled with meaningful experiences, personal growth, and connections.
That’s why I created Life Between Countries.
This blog is a space where I can share my experiences, lessons learned, and everyday moments. Some posts will focus on Canadian life and what it’s really like to build a future here. Others will explore travel, coffee culture, wellness, and the small habits that make life more enjoyable.
Coffee has become one of my favorite ways to slow down and appreciate the present moment. Travel continues to remind me how much there is to learn from different places and cultures. Wellness and fitness have taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and progress over perfection.
Most importantly, this blog is about embracing new beginnings.
Whether you’re adjusting to life in a new country, planning your next adventure, working toward healthier habits, or simply looking for inspiration, I hope you’ll find something here that resonates with you.
Thank you for joining me on this journey.
Welcome to Life Between Countries.

Burlington Waterfront
One of my favorite places in Burlington. The waterfront reminds me how much beauty there is in everyday life and how fortunate I am to call this area home.

Lake Ontario has become a familiar part of my Canadian experience. Whether I’m walking along the shore or simply enjoying the view, it always helps me to slow down and appreciate the moment.

Favorite Coffee Shop
Coffee has become one of my favorite rituals. Local cafés are more than places to grab a drink—they’re spaces to relax, reflect, and connect with others.

October 27, 2022. An airport in Austria, a one-way ticket to Canada, and the beginning of a completely new chapter in my life. This moment reminds me that every new beginning starts with a single step into the unknown.
